PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to have fun while learning about distance running, and while improving our fitness and skill levels. Cross Country is a sport in which personal achievement is just as important as team achievement, and by improving yourself you improve the team. Everyone will participate; there is no "sitting the bench" in cross country. We will work hard, play hard, and enjoy success together.
PRACTICES
First Practice: Monday, Aug. 3 3:45-5:00
Practices will be everyday after school unless otherwise indicated on the team calendar.
What to Bring to Practices:
On the first day:
*You MUST have a current physical on file with the athletic department and all other paperwork completed on
Rank One Sport before you will be allowed to practice.

Every day:
proper attire (including a mask/face covering), water bottle or sports drink
Mandatory: running or cross training shoes (not: basketball shoes, Converse, Keds, etc)
Mandatory: running clothes that show no more skin than the team uniform (a tank-top shirt and running shorts).
Mandatory: long hair must be pulled back (pony tail or braid) throughout every practice and meet
Mandatory: proper undergarments
